Our research group

Eye-tracking research at Palacký University.

Our group started using eye-tracking in 2011, primarily to investigate how people read, interpret and use maps. Over the years, we have expanded to studies of 2D and 3D visualization, map complexity, interface interaction and cognitive processes, while collaborating with researchers in education, psychology, media and other fields.

We also develop tools that support eye-tracking research, including GazePlotter — an open-source solution for gaze-data visualization and analysis.
