Central European Conference on Eye-tracking — bringing together researchers, ideas and methods across disciplines.
15–17 September 2027 · Olomouc, Czechia
About CECE 2027
The eye-tracking community in Czechia and neighbouring countries continues to grow. CECE 2027 is a new forum for researchers to meet, share practical experience, discuss methodological challenges, and present their work on all aspects of eye-tracking research.
Whether you are an experienced researcher, a PhD student or just beginning to explore eye-tracking, you are warmly invited to join us. We believe that exchanging ideas across disciplines helps advance both eye-tracking methods and the research questions they can address.
One conference. Many perspectives.
Bringing together research on visual attention, eye movements, human behaviour and interaction — from fundamental methods to real-world applications.
What to expect
⌁
Hear about eye-tracking in psychology, cartography, UX, education, medicine, computer science and beyond.
◇
Meet colleagues from across Central Europe, exchange lessons learned and build research collaborations.
▤
Discover new approaches to gaze-data analysis, including a dedicated practical GazePlotter tutorial.
FEATURED TUTORIAL
Get hands-on with GazePlotter, a free, open-source browser-based application developed at Palacký University Olomouc. The conference will feature a tutorial introducing visualizations such as scarf plots, scanpaths, AOI timelines and transition matrices.
No installation or account required. Your eye-tracking data remain on your device.
Hosted by Palacký University Olomouc
The Eye-tracking Group at the Department of Geoinformatics began its eye-tracking research in 2011. Its original focus on map reading and cartographic visualization has grown into collaborations spanning psychology, education, media studies and other disciplines.
Our research investigates visual attention, map-reading strategies, 2D and 3D visualization, user interaction and methods for analysing gaze behaviour. We look forward to welcoming the wider eye-tracking community to Olomouc.
